Where have all the cats gone?

I was talking to the neighbours earlier (the people opposite us had half their pool water disappear and *they had a cover on the pool*) and everyone's cats are gone. There are all kinds of people reporting their cats missing to the authorities too (cat lovers GET REAL!!). Where oh where have the pussycats gone? Are they blaming their owners for waking them up and they are off somewhere to sulk? Are they hiding because they can sense another one is on the way? I'd be laughing about it except that the sheer number of missing cats is getting freaky. So, if you go past a warehouse full of "stray cats" let me know and I'll spread the word to my friends so they can come and pick up their cats.
