Rip-Stik Day at School (to raise money for something)

Seb has been looking forward to lunch time today for weeks... It was his class' turn to pay a "gold coin" and then get to play on The Ramp with either their Rip-stiks or skateboards (sadly, no bikes...) I went down and took some pictures of him and his friends "gettin' some air". Too cute! I also caught up with Lucy and her darling friends Yi-Yen, Willow, Eri and Eun-Sae (Sammie-Lee was somewhere in the background). I am so lucky that I can go down to school whenever I want and hang out with the kids :)

What a cool fundraising idea!

I know... each class was given a day to do it, and they have to bring a gold coin donation. I don't know where they got the ramp from but trust me, the kids love it and they sure got money! I only took pictures of Seb and his mates but there were lots of girls doing it too. As you can see there are no helmets, but no one got hurt. It was run by the School Council - dead easy, no preperation... just put the ramp out and leave them to it.
