2 Jan 2012 - Sydney Harbour

Tom and I went adventurizing...  We took the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly, and then had some business to take care of in the beautiful suburb of my grandparents, before coming home via the old part of Sydney.  The buildings are just so beautiful.  I'm sure there were other things to look at but I was fixated by the little details on the old stone buildings.  Tom of course was clueless and had no clue about the original use of the buildings and what stone they were made of, but I'll let that slide.
Sam, do you remember when we went to Luna park in 1980 and the ride we were on broke down as we were hovering over the shark infested ocean, sideways, in a little carriage (before the days of harnessing you in... and we had to hang onto the metal bar to stop us from finding Nemo on the most intimate level) for HOURS whilst we screamed for rescue?
