The one that touched my heart was the Sister Hilda Memorial Award for Compassionate Care and Concern for Others. Bishop Victoria Matthews said to her (when she handed her the trophy) that this is the most important of all the cups that could be awarded - and she is right. What is more important than being compassionate and caring?
This could be Megane accepting the prize for Service to the Senior Choir as Head Girl Chorister, or Loyal Service as a School Prefect, or Service as Deputy Head Librarian... or maybe she is getting the trophy for The Senior Art Prize.
This little darling is Lucy receiving the prize for Academic Excellence (Year 2) - she was given a book, and she is so happy about it!
I took this photo before Prizegiving - yes, I know! We were early! Who knew it was possible!!!!???
Megane getting some sort of recognition and Saskia - who also helped wear out a track on the way to the stage. She was Dux of the School and a million other things! Bravo Saskia!

Kapahaka!! Can you spot Megane? Sebastien is in the back row but I could hear him, and Megane is in the front row... Sebas also got a mention for representing the Independant Schools at the Canterbury Athletics in discus.
